Engineering Associate

Responsibilities:
An engineering associate (EA) will be responsible for assisting project managers in day-to-day engineering studies in the field of traffic/transportation engineering and planning. The EA will be under the direct supervision of one or more licensed professional engineers and assigned to perform technical tasks such as, but not limited to report analysis/writing/preparation, conceptual design, and technical graphics preparation in support of DT&A’s various projects. The level of responsibility, the degree of complexity, and the range of assignments will progressively increase with experience and upon successful completion of previous assignments.

Requirements:
Minimum requirements for the position include successful completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college. Engineer-in-Training Certification (E.I.T.) and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Civil Transportation Project Managers

Responsibilities:
Prepare traffic signal design, traffic impact analysis and transportation modeling. Develop, design, and simulate traffic control plans. Prepare signal timing/coordination plans and simulate traffic operations. Monitor projects and prepare reports. Minimum Degree Requirement: Master's degree in civil engineering (transportation engineering).
