Traffic Planning and Analysis for Pacific Health Center Honolulu, Hawaii

DeShazo, Tang & Associates, Inc. (DT&A) assisted Pacific Health Community, Inc. and their team of professionals with the planing and analysis of the traffic and parking elements of the planned medical center. The 210-acre campus is strategically located along H2 Highway between Honolulu and Wahiawa. DT&A assisted with the planning and geometric design of the access and circulation system serving the comprehensive healthcare campus. DT&A also analyzed the traffic impact on the area roadways attributable to the multifunctional facility containing sports medicine, diagnostic, clinical, hospital, educational, biomedical research, professional offices, recreation, and senior living uses. Roadway improvements were identified to mitigate the negative impacts resulting from the increased traffic. The firm also testified at the public hearing conducted by the State Land Use Commission.
