INTERSECTION DESIGN

Intersection design plays an important role in the success of a development. DT&A develops an understanding of the desired traffic movements and existing deficiencies at an intersection. Existing geometric design and traffic volume counts are gathered and design concepts are created. The concepts are then reviewed with the client and the City to identify the feasibility and merits of each design. Once a design concept is selected, AutoCADD drawings are generated of the preferred concept. DT&A also represents the client at meetings in all technical matters relative to the pursued design concept.
