Texas A&M University
College Station, Texas

Texas A&M University is committed to enhancing its global reputation during the first part of the 21st Century. Campus planners recognize one of the key ingredients to achieving that goal will be developing a more unified, pedestrian-friendly campus. DeShazo, Tang & Associates, Inc. has been assisting Texas A&M with addressing traffic and parking issues on its campus over the past fifteen years. DeShazo, Tang & Associates, Inc. has developed a functional design for the University Center, Library, and West Campus parking garages. The West Campus garage incorporates a pedestrian passageway near Wellborn Road that links the Main Campus with the West Campus. The university enlisted our services to develop another garage and pedestrian passageway further north of the campus on Wellborn Road.

DT&A was also involved in development of a controlled access plan for the Central Campus to facilitate greater pedestrian and bicyclist enjoyment. DT&A continues to participate in the university's expansion/improvement needs.
