Texas Main Street Project
The Texas Main Street Project is
sponsored by the National Main Street Center (NMSC) in Washington,
D.C. to provide an information and technical assistance resource
to aid downtown development in small cities. The overall goal
of the project is to create a team unit dedicated to maintaining/developing
the downtown areas in a manner that projects a positive image,
maximizes economic growth, ensures high quality renovation, and
incorporates safety and efficiency issues.
As a member of the Resource Team,
DeShazo, Tang & Associates, Inc. provided traffic analysis and
thoroughfare/ street planning, traffic control guidance, and parking
planning and design services to accomplish the objectives of the
design team. DT&A was on the Resource Team for the following cities.
