UNT Eagle Point Campus – Phase I
DeShazo, Tang & Associates, Inc. was asked to evaluate the impact on roadway operational conditions of the proposed South Campus (Eagle Point) of the University of North Texas. Phase I of the development included an athletic center and an associated residence hall. The athletic center would be the first phase of a new, 30,000-seat stadium. The analysis focused on Phase I with the future development as a consideration in planning the roadway infrastructure. Pedestrian access and future shuttles to the main campus were also considered. Existing roadways and intersections were evaluated with special consideration for the neighborhoods to the east and south.
